My story didn't change too drastically. Throughout my drafts I believe my biggest improvement was the emotion in my story, Its been a difficult journey to learn how to comfortably express my emotions but I think this project helped me understand myself better, along with understanding my peers better. Regarding the actual writing portion; I didn't have any dialogue as I felt it fit more to me to write my emotions and events at the time. It was a little hard to deal with the fact that I wasn't 100% proud of my writing. And it wasn't as if I didn't try my hardest, but I'm just not confident of my writing. Overall I really enjoyed experimenting with my writing throughout these drafts, I'm not a big writer but I felt that when writing these drafts I was able to create my own personal writing piece.
Critique
Critiquing is typically my favorite part of writing. I enjoy it due to the fact I know that people know where I'm coming from when critiquing their typically research or educational writing and I know I can be upfront about it. But it was very different this time around. I wasn't very comfortable critiquing peoples personal narratives, I was very hesitant. I didn't want anything I said to anyone to be taken in a hurtful context; people might misunderstand what I was trying to say through what I wrote. I didn't want to dictate other peoples writing, accepting the critique was easy for me, but giving it was harder.
Script and Images
Scripting was the most helpful process I personally had. It helped me a lot with where to pause and breathe and where I might want to put emphasis on words. The text we had for our story was edited in a specific way to give us cues on when to do certain things with our voice, pause, etc.
